Wenger retains title hopes

The Emirates manager, however, admits Jose Mourinho’s leaders must slip up against Manchester United on Saturday Night Football.
Chelsea currently have a seven-point lead and a game in hand over the Londoners ahead of a resurgent United’s visit to Stamford Bridge.
“Mathematically, yes,” replied Wenger when asked if the Gunners could still win the Premier League. “But we have to win our games and we want to win our games, that is all we can do.”
Arsenal have won 10 straight matches since losing to Tottenham two months ago, while Chelsea dropped points during the same run after they were held to draws by Burnley and Southampton.
Wenger’s side are not involved in the Premier League this weekend as they play Reading in the FA Cup.
The Frenchman was quizzed whether he would swap a place in Saturday’s semi-final at Wembley to be four or five points closer to Chelsea.
“There is no question about swapping, we are not in a negotiation in our job, unfortunately,” he replied with a smile.
“It’s just that you do what you can do, as well as you can in every single competition. We have done well in the FA Cup and we want to continue our run.”
